The product utilizes the Doppler effect principle of underwater ultrasonic acoustics for measurement.
Thesensor emits continuous fixed-frequency ultrasonic signals into the water body directly ahead and receives the waves reflected by acoustic scatterers (such as microparticles, bubbles, impurities, etc.) moving with the water flow. The moving velocity is calculated based on the frequency deviation of the sound waves, and the water flow velocity is obtained after vector correction. Simultaneously, the pressure element at the bottom of the sensor detects changes in water pressure, thereby acquiring water level signals. By combining preset channel (waterway, pipeline) dimension parameters, the cross-sectional flow area can be derived, ultimately yielding flow rate data. Additionally, an integrated conductivity sensor can be optionally included toenhance water quality parameter monitoring.
